2025 U9s+U10s
ADVANCE TRAINING SYSTEM
TERM 1: SKILL & FITNESS
In TERM 1 of 2025, players will focus on developing position-specific in-game skills, with coaches prioritising individual fitness to ensure readiness for the season. Technical ball mastery will be a central component of the training, aiming to refine key skills and improve overall ball control.
TERM 2: PERFORMANCE & MASTERY
In TERM 2 of 2025, players will be introduced to football-specific physical exercises to enhance their on-field performance. Our licensed personal trainer will guide them through exercises focused on improving balance, stability, and strength. Technical on-ball mastery will be continued.
TERM 3: DEVELOPMENT & PATHWAY
In TERM 3 of 2025, top-performing players from the U9s Advance Program will be identified by coaches and trained under the head coach. Additionally, they will be recommended to attend varies FNSW JDL (SAP) trials in that align with their skill level and development pathway.
TERM 4: SELECTION & PREPARATION
In TERM 4 of 2025, our primary focus will be on team selection and preparation for the start of 2026 January tournament. Our coaches will assess player performance and select the most suitable individuals for the Footballnet Academy U10+U11s tournament squad, ensuring a competitive and well-prepared team.
SUMMARY
By completing our U9+U10s ADVANCE PROGRAM, players will refine their in-game skills, enhance tactical awareness, and be introduced content taught by our academy’s partnership with Mastery Sports Performance. They will advance through skill drills, football-specific physical exercises, and positioning training to improve performance. Top players will receive coaching from the head coach and trial recommendations, opening pathways to higher levels. The program concludes with team selection and tournament preparation for the start of 2026 tournament.
Upon completion, players will be prepared to progress to our 10+ ELITE PROGRAM, where they will receive JDL (SAP) level training supported by our partnership with MSP, focusing on football performance. Players are also encouraged to continue and pursue 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 sessions for position-specific training to achieve optimal results in JDL league games.
