Designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of football in a fun and engaging environment. This class is perfect for children aged 5 to 6 who are eager to embark on their football journey and discover the joy of the sport.

2025 BASIC TRAINING SYSTEM
TERM 1: GROWTH & FOUNDATION
In TERM 1 of 2025, players in the basic program will improve their ball mastery skills, fitness, speed & agility, awareness & reaction time and finally their passion for the game.
TERM 2: SKILL & STRATEGY
In TERM 2 of 2025, our program will continue to enhance players' ball mastery and their fitness & physical capabilities. Additionally, we will introduce foundational in-game football knowledge to further develop their tactical understanding and decision-making on the field.
TERM 3: PROGRESS & PRECISION
In TERM 3 of 2025, we will build on the goals established in Term 2, further developing our players' ball mastery, fitness, and physical capabilities. Additionally, we will continue to strengthen their foundational understanding of in-game football knowledge.
TERM 4: PASSION & PROFICIENCY
In TERM 4 of 2025, our players will demonstrate a genuine passion for the game, coupled with a foundational understanding of in-game football knowledge. They will also possess the fundamental technical skills essential to becoming aspiring young footballers.
SUMMARY
By completing our BASIC PROGRAM, players will embark on a year-long journey designed to build a strong foundation in football and foster a genuine passion for the game. They will develop essential skills, including ball mastery, fitness, speed, agility, awareness, and reaction time, while gaining a solid understanding of in-game strategies and tactical decision-making. The program emphasises continuous growth, refining technical abilities, improving physical performance, and cultivating a love for football.
Upon completion, players will be ready to progress into our U7s ADVANCE PROGRAM, where they will further develop their skills and knowledge in preparation for future tournaments and selection into FNSW JDL (SAP). Additionally, elite players from the BASIC PROGRAM will have the opportunity to be selected for the Footballnet Academy tournament squad, representing the academy in competitive matches.
